Current Students
  1. Sign in to the Yale Hub(Link is external).
  2. Navigate to the “Academics” section.
  3. Select “Transcript Orders” to place your order.
Alumni and Former Students

If you are unable to sign in to the Yale Hub, you can order your transcript directly through the Parchment website or order an electronic transcript.  See Transcripts(Link opens in new window) for ordering and payment information. 

Professional Schools

Students from specific professional schools (such as the David Geffen School of Drama, Divinity School, Jackson School of Global Affairs, etc.) should also access the transcript order service through the Yale Hub. Other professional school students must contact their own school registrars for transcript requests.

The University Registrar’s Office provides enrollment(Link is external) and degree(Link is external) verification services to confirm a student’s academic status for Yale College and Graduate School of Arts and Sciences students.  See Verifications(Link opens in new window) for more information.

Students in the professional schools should contact their school registrars for verification information (see Verifications(Link opens in new window) for links to each School’s  Registrar).

Purchase Your Certified Electric Credential

View the  Certified Electronic Credential service (CeDiploma/CeTranscript)(Link opens in new window) page for information and instructions for the service.

After registering for the CeCredential service, you will need to purchase your CeDiploma or CeTranscript. The credential can be downloaded or shared using a secure, electronic method.

How to Elect Credit/D/Fail

  1. Log into Yale Hub.
  2. Select the Course Enrollment tab and click “Yale College Change Course from Letter Grade to Credit/D/Fail.”
  3. Change the drop-down selection from “YC – Letter Grade” to “Credit/D/Fail.”
  4. Click “Submit Changes” to save the conversion.
  5. A confirmation of the change will be sent to your Yale email account. If you do not receive the confirmation email, your change was not processed. You can confirm all your course grading modes by viewing your “Course Schedule Details by Term” in Yale Hub. 

If you are considering a course withdrawal or have problems converting to Credit/D/Fail grade mode, contact your residential college dean.  Note that Credit/D/Final conversions are final and cannot be changed. 

In the Yale Hub(Link is external) (Link opens in new window) use the menu on the left to select Personal Data then click either 

  • Email and Phone Numbers for your personal information, 
  • Update Emergency Contacts, or 
  • Family Contact

or use all three to ensure all of your information is up to date. 

In Yale Hub(Link is external) (Link opens in new window), use the menu on the left to select Academics, then click Declare Major, Concentration within the Major, Certificate. Update your desired academic program information, and hit Save.  

If an electronic (dynamic) form was submitted, students can track the progress of the form through the review and approvals process using the link provided at the bottom of the confirmation email they received when the form was initially submitted.

Gather Required Documentation

The student and their spouse/partner need to provide proof of marriage or civil union. Acceptable forms of documentation include:

  • A marriage certificate (in English)
  • A civil union document (only applicable for same-sex civil unions)
  • J-2 visa documents that include both spouses’ names
  • Passports that contain both spouses’ names
  • Visit the Registrar’s Office: The student must go to their respective Registrar’s office along with their spouse/partner. They should present the gathered proof of marriage or civil union.
