The University Registrar’s Office maintains the Student Profile Advising System which keeps an up-to-date database of students and student advisers.
It is a resource for advisers that compiles various data points on the student’s personal and academic records in one central location.
When departmental registrars or faculty advisers are assigned to a student, this page helps them navigate the student’s academic profile. For Yale College and the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences, the adviser sync process assigns advisers to students based on their role and the student’s curriculum or residential college.
Student profiles display a student’s biographical information, curricula, GPA, credit hours, grade history, registered courses, and holds. The page also includes links to advising resources such as Degree Audit, request for TI and/or ABX, and Dean’s Extension. It includes the current term course schedule, as well as prior education and test scores, student residential colleges (when applicable), class year, school, major(s), and concentration.
Once someone has an advising relationship with the student, they receive access to both Degree Audit* and Student Profile.
*Some professional schools do not use Degree Audit.
